The Susan B. Anthony dollar is a United States dollar coin minted 1979 to 1981, and again in 1999. the reverse design is same with Eisenhower coin, and the obverse is depicting Susan B. Anthony, who was a social activist for women's rights. It is minted as a replacement of Eisenhower coin, which was kind of heavy and big.
However, Susan B. Anthony coin couldn't make a big popularity by the citizens because the size and color of the coin was too similar with quarter (25ยข) and people had a confusion. Eventually, U.S Mint stopped producing Susan dollars in 1981. After 19 years, they temporarily reproduced Susan dollar because the new dollar coin's production was delaying.
